Today‘s ride was good! It was a beautiful 22 miles and went by really fast. We arrived in Krems around 1:30pm, our earliest arrival to a town yet. Krems is a town of approximately 24,000 inhabitants in lower Austria. Krems is a very old town and has been around since around 995. You can see in the faces of Steve and Monte (who can barely muster the strength to smile) the exhaustion which is starting to creep up on all of us. Between the distance we have been riding and the weight of the bikes and gear, it makes for a sore and tired body. We are ALL looking forward to the riding portion of this trip coming to an end. Tomorrow is a 27 miler so it’s off to bed for me. Ciao!
