Day 15 ~ Auf Wiedersehen Tulln

We said goodbye to Tulln as we rode the last leg of our 200 mile bike ride trip down the Danube River. While the ride was fun it was also difficult and exhausting at times. We are all glad to be off the bikes and on foot. Enter VIENNA! Vienna Is BIG and quite incredible. We visited the Schonbrunn Palace and did the grand tour. The Palace was the main summer home of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, Vienna. We found a local pizzeria for dinner followed up by more gelato. At this point i think the scale is tipping in the wrong direction for me, LOL. Vienna is also home to the oldest functional Ferris wheel in the world which was built in 1897 and is called the Riesenrad; perfect name because it is certainly RAD! We are hoping to ride it before we leave Vienna.
