Today we spent all day in Ramsau am Dachstein. Had an early breakfast and went for a little walk into town for some exercise and some shopping. Visited two more amazing churches, a local cemetery, a bought a pair of European croakies. We came back to Haus Maria for a coffee and a quick rest before venturing back up into the mountains to Larchbodenalm Cafe. But this time we brought Steve. We insisted that he must come see this little gem with us and he was so glad he did. In Steve’s words we undersold the place to him, lol. He loved it as much as we did. We were once again greeted by the amazingly friendly Kai who set us up with wine, beer, and some delicious and unique foods of theirs. They also allowed me to film the property both on the ground level and with my drone which I will be using partly in my video of the trip but I will also be making detailed video of the cafe that they can use and share with others. Once the footage was captured (including the overlook and shear cliff drop off up the hill) George (the owner) joined us for coffee and cake. He ended up spending quite a bit of time with us sharing his story, his testimony, and how God changed his life and how he has seen God change the lives of countless others that he has witnessed to. This family has a rich history dating back to the 1200’s here in Austria and it was truly an honor to be in his company and listen to him speak so passionately about life. We treasured the time we were able to spend with both George and Kai and assured him We’ll Be Back!
